Supporting Homeless Veterans
The number of veterans experiencing homelessness has decreased by nearly 50% since 2010! Yet, we still have 37,800 veterans in need according to the most recent report released by the Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2018. Latisha Austin, an Army National Guard veteran and singer-songwriter, shares her experiences as a veteran struggling to re-establish herself in her community.
