About Wit & Reason

Judgment That Holds Up in High-Pressure Environments

Wit & Reason is a consulting and training firm focused on helping organizations and leaders make sound decisions when human behavior, psychological strain, and reputational exposure intersect.

Our work is designed for people responsible for outcomes in environments where pressure is sustained, visibility is high, and decisions carry real consequences.

We operate where time is limited, conditions are complex, and clarity matters.

Our Approach

Challenges involving mental health, conduct, or workplace culture rarely arise from lack of care. They arise when teams lack clear thresholds, shared judgment frameworks, or timely response under strain.

Wit & Reason applies a disciplined, context-aware approach to human risk that emphasizes:

  • Early recognition of behavioral and psychological strain

  • Clear decision pathways during high-pressure moments

  • Practical response strategies that prevent escalation

  • Accountability grounded in real operational conditions

Our focus is not reassurance. It is readiness.

Experience That Translates Into Action

Our work is informed by:

  • Advanced expertise in mental health and human behavior

  • Direct experience in high-pressure entertainment and organizational environments

  • Advisory and training work with teams operating under public visibility and scrutiny

We understand how quickly well-intentioned decisions can produce unintended consequences when pressure is high and systems are tested. Our role is to help leaders navigate those moments with clarity and restraint.

This work is led by Dr. Alexis Moreno and Alex Honigman, LICSW and delivered in collaboration with trusted professionals when on-site or specialized support is required.

Leadership of the Work

Wit & Reason’s advisory and training work is led by Dr. Alexis Moreno & Alex Honigman.

Dr. Moreno is a former child actor and doctor of clinical community psychology whose work focuses on behavioral risk, decision-making under visibility, and psychological readiness in creative and production environments. Her background in media and psychology allows her to translate behavioral science into practical guidance leaders can use when stakes are high and scrutiny is real.

Alex Honigman is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience supporting individuals and organizations navigating stress, conflict, and high-stakes interpersonal dynamics. His work centers on leadership judgment, relational risk, and decision sequencing in complex, fast-moving environments.

Together, they lead Wit & Reason’s work with organizations in entertainment, media, and other high-visibility industries where decisions involving people, safety, and reputation carry lasting consequences.

When engagements require additional capacity or on-site expertise, Wit & Reason collaborates with vetted professionals under the direction of its leadership to ensure continuity, discretion, and consistency of work.

What Distinguishes Wit & Reason

Wit & Reason brings psychological and behavioral expertise into environments where decisions must be made quickly and responsibly.

We provide:

  • Clear, structured judgment support that integrates alongside leadership, legal, and safety functions

  • Training that reflects how people actually behave under production conditions

  • Preparation that holds up during scrutiny, not just in planning

This work is designed to reduce preventable harm while supporting momentum, responsibility, and professional standards.

Confidentiality & Discretion

Much of our work involves sensitive situations and high-visibility environments. For that reason:

  • Engagement details are shared selectively

  • Case context is discussed privately

  • Public references are limited by design

Discretion is not a marketing choice. It is part of how the work functions.

How We Work With Organizations

Wit & Reason partners with organizations and leaders through:

  • Advisory work supporting leadership judgment and decision-making

  • Training programs for teams operating under pressure

  • Ongoing consultation for roles with sustained exposure

Engagements begin with a conversation to assess context, scope, and timing.
